Logo Design - Angel Cottage Creations

Last night I attended 'Sparks Christmas' - a fair of handmade and homemade goodies from very talented people. It was held at a beautiful house in Rustington, (West Sussex) which made a fantastic venue and enhance the lovely creations on offer. One of those clever people is a good friend of mine and this was her first public sale before her Esty shop opens in December - Angel Cottage Creations. The logo is designed by me and I must say it looked fab on her stand last night amongst all her products. My Christmas Cushions

Once again I have been inspired by the new series of 'Kirstie's Homemade Home' and decided that this year I wanted some fab Christmas cushions on the sofa. So here they are!

The snowman fabric was a fat quarter of patchwork fabric by Basicgrey. I backed the smaller cushions in some 'less expensive' linen to make the most of the snowmen. The larger cushion are made using some lovely heavy weight double sided red gingham. I'm really pleased with the outcome and can't wait to put the dec's up so I can get them out but I can't before December, it doesn't seem right some how. Hope you like them.

The New Addition!

This is a personal post but I feel a very important one!

Back in the beginning of July we collected a new addition to our family.

His name is Alfie and he is the new love of our lives even when he chewed my shoes when he was younger. I am biased in my opinion when I say he is the cutest Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever I have ever seen and he's all our's. Here is a photo of him the day we got him home and a more recent one now 6 months old. He's growing into a very handsome chap if I do say so myself.
